Does Linzess lose its effective if out of the orginal bottle?

Here is what I found in the literature, Keep Linzess in the original container. Do not subdivide or repackage. Protect from moisture. Do not remove desiccant from the container. Keep bottles tightly closed in a dry place.
One has to assume there is a reason for the direction. It would be damaged in some way if you don't.
