I am 67 yr old female who started talking 20 mg Citalopram for anxiety May 29th and then increased to 40 mg. June 15th I have not felt the effect. Should I wait more than 2 months. thanks

You should at least be seeing some, if not all, the improvements by now. You'll want to talk with your doctor about your options such as an off-label dosage increase, the addition of another medication like Abilify or Rexulti, or a switch to a different medication.
