My doctor prescribed 50 mg naltrexone for weight loss. I have read that LDN is usually prescribed for weight loss so now I'm afraid to take the 50 mg. I haven't taken any yet. Is 50 mg OK for weight loss? Should I ask doc for LDN instead?

It's mainly used to treat autoimmune diseases rather than taking it for weight loss. Weight loss Rx is not that helpful in most of my cases. If you want to lose weight, change your diet, adjust your lifestyle, and exercise can do a better job. See a nutritionist or diet specialist to manage your weight. I personally would be skeptical about taking this for weight loss.
