I started taking Lamictal two weeks ago. I noticed an increase in sex drive within 3 days of starting.
I just started Latuda yesterday. I’ll update later.

I don't understand. Latuda is marketed for Bipolar depression, not mania.

I am 43 and married. I have no sex drive anymore. I am going to go off Latuda with my doctor's help. I feel happy but it sucks to feel asexual.

I'm on a regimen of pill. Trying figure which is causing my nonexistent sex drive.
Latuda 60mg
Lamictal 300mg
Wellbutrn 300mg
Trintellix 20mg
Ambien 5mg & 25mg of trazandone for sleep
I know they all could be the culprit
I was wondering if anyone taking one of these meds, maybe even just 1 alone. Id likr to narrow my search for a better sex life. Any suggestions would be greatlying appreciated

I was on 80mg of Latuda and 300 mg of wellbutriin. I was numb down there was almost impossible to have an orgasm when I did it was like so full. Came off both altogether now fully functioning but after 9 months drug free I am in a terrible state but I am trying to refuse meds for this reason the majority do that sorry to say. Best of luck

I would get off it try trileptal . Lamictal did that to me no sex drive . Felt numb. Living with bipolar 1 is hard enough but feelinh dead an breathing is awfull. I love my hormones makes me feel alive married too -42 year old.

Talk to your dr, dont just stop it. He may be able to change your meds so that you still are helped, but don't have that effect.

I'd never stop wo talking to him but I can't take this. I was put on it for long episode of mania and I love it. I'm just not happy about this sex drive thing. I've tried stratris well I've tried lots of anti psychotics. Now that my episode is over perhaps I can go back to my usual which is lamictal and trileptal both mood stabilizers lexapro and Klonopin

Pls never play around with your medications nor stop taking it until you have spoken with your Doctor. kaismama is correct. I can relate, I've been taking Depakote 500mg one in am and two at bedtime. My sex drive has gone to the way side. I never put this to much
thought concerning my medication but you may be right. I blamed it on age.. :-(
My next office visit I will ask and let you know...

I've been dealing with bipolar since I was diagnosed at 33. I'm 45. I know not to do anything w meds until I speak to my doc. I guess I meant to say I can't wait to get to my next appt because I've been married only 6 years and sex is a big part of our lives at this time. It's really bothering me and I want what's best for me which means if doc says ur doing so good let's not tinker then so be it and my husband and I are sol! I will then ask doc for a sex drive pill!!!
