I've taken the same for many years the lump sensation is not in your throat its at the base of your esophagus. Not a problem. But of course you don't believe me , always consult your dr.
I have take Omprazole for years, & have never had this feeling. Maybe you should speak with your doctor about this or see an ENT. Would hate to think you have something there that shouldn't be...
Have hyou been tested for a hiatal hernia? Hiatal hernia can cause some of the same symptoms as gastric reflux. Hiatal hernia occurs when the upper portion of the stomach slides through the opening in the diaphragm. Here is a link to a couple of articles that explain more.
I had an upper endoscopy done last year. Was treated for a bacterial infection and was fine until a month ago. Was put on omeprezole and do not feel right. Like I said, I feel like I have a lump in my throat and wonder if this is some side effect.
