It is used mainly for cough. It may help to relieve pain too because of the hydrocodone but you dont want the homatropine if you have just pain. The ingestion of very large amounts of hydrocodone bitartrate and homatropine methylbromide may result in acute homatropine intoxication so you cant take larger doses of this medication to treat pain.
It is a cough medicine.
