codeine makes a bad itch (back and arms). I have a colostomy bag and have to have pain meds.
The itch is not as intense, but its still there. Should I be worried about other (internal) reactions?
I can stand the itch if I have to, the good outweighs the bad. I just don't want it to be causing
other problems. whats the alternative meds as effective as hydrocodone? Thanks
Hydrocodone use if allergic to codeine?

My wife needs to take liquid Benadryl about 20 minutes before taking the pain meds for the same itchy feelings, codeine makes me VERY nauseous, but I'm OK with taking hydrocodone or morphine, but everybody's response IS different. It's a trial & error that must be tried, in my opinion. I hope this helps.
