my friend took 2or3 hits of it about 1.5 months ago like a dummy and has to take a hair drug test next week

I'm Def not sure on how much or how long when it comes to hair folicles but I did research it for a month or so before taking one of my own for corrections. Every where I read said you can't beat one and so forth but at that time I was a heavy drug user and passed mine. I'm not saying I recommend it or that I know more than the next person but there is a lot of hype out there that that isn't exactly true.

Alright I was a user for 5yrs. Quit after receiving a DUI for it. About a yr later I smoked for a lil while (week or so) with a former friend then had my hair tested roughly 90days layer. Came back comepletely clean (tested for lowest possible amount 1pg/mm) it doesn't stay in your follicle forever that's a lie. Most tests will only include the 90 day window (1.5inch hair) tho if you have longer hair they can test even further back with lower results due to degrading of the hair. Don't shave your head to beat it, they will take body hair which grows slower therefore has a detection time of up to a yr before the follicle has released the thc completely into the hair and starts producing clean hair. Point is - if within the 90day window you're pretty much screwed. But its not going to take years to clear from the follicle. If that was the case I am sure the 5yrs of heavy smoking I did would still be in my system.
Anyone who tells you it does obviously has never been thru it or used pot. Also being around pot at say a concert won't trigger it as they look inside the shaft for the metabolites. Think I've pretty much covered it all there. Goodluck to anyone in this situation.

I used to smoke the weeds over the past 5 years on and off some times very heavy usage. I have since gotten an amazing job and no longer hit the gonja. i smoked about 2 bowls worth maybe a month or 2 before i took my hair test and passed. so the whole being able to see it 5 years back is not true (at least in my case) but i do know the only sure fire way to pass a drug test of any kind, is to not take any non prescribed drugs. and just a question for any one that may know... Does "magic mushrooms" show up in any kind of drug test?

You're not going to beat a follicle drug test, the individuals administering the test and analyzing the results can determine a pretty exact timeline of drug use. The 1.5 months has nothing to do with it. if he's smoked pot in the last five years it's going to show every time he's done it.

It doesn't matter how much ya smoke it get deep on your hair follicles and thats what they test... It would tale a couple of yrs for it to get out of the follicle... sorry boo!!*beepoo good luck!!

If you are getting this test done, which I have by the way..it shows what you have consumed (drugs) for the past 6 months.

If you smoke weed, it only takes ONE time smoking it for it to pop on a test & it takes 30 days to get it OUT of your blood/urine... if you smoke everyday it takes WAY longer! I agree with maso4169!! I hope your test turns out okay, Good luck dude! =)
