it is for admission into a pain management clinic and i do have a prescription for the vicodin.
Will a drug test show if Im taking too much vicodin or will it simply show that its in my system?

Yes she is correct, but youd really have to be taking ALOT more than youre supposed to be for them to be able to tell. And honestly if youre scripted to them theyll see that you tested positive for opioids and be expecting it, so they wont go back and check for the levels... and if they do just deny till you die. They cant really prove you took more than prescribed unless its some crazy accurate test. I take ones from the court program, they go to a lab apparently and they cant tell if i overuse my xanax

When it shows up in your system, labs will run another test to re-check the findings and (depending on what the test is for and $$$) will test the levels after that.
