How long after taking suboxone can you take oxy?

I mite have something to add if me and my girl had split one so I take a half every other day and then split it into little pieces but my last piece was this morning at 9 and it is now 5 how can soon can I take a perc 10 myself?

Honestly there not lieing when everything is based on metabolism, ect. I did a 8mg strip then the next day 8 hrs later I did a Roxy 30mg I got incredibly sick and went through Insta withdrawals. Mind you that was only taking that 1 sub out of the whole year as I rarely take those. The next time I took it I waited at least 24 hrs I did a tiny bit of OxyContin just to see how it would effect me. It didn't make me sick but the euphoria was reduced quite abit. So I wait another day out this time I felt the euphoria 60% more then normal but still not the same effect. The next day I do it I get the full euphoria effect. So for me doing a 8mg strip no matter how much or when I do it. To get a full euphoric effect I'm waiting 72 hrs no matter what.

I waited 8 hours and did it and experimented with a 10mg tab and ive been going 2 the clinic for 2 years and felt great. (I didnt want to waste the good stuff.) 8 hours... your good...

I actually joined this site because I have the same question about how long should I wait to take these 5 mg oxycodones. I took an 8 mg sub strip about 49 hrs ago, but had also to taken a sub earlier that day. So, can I take the oxys with results? Like will I feel it probably should I wait?

It all depends on HOW MUCH SUB YOU'RE TAKING... I know I was taking a 1/2 sub everyday and 26 hours later after taking roxys I was able to get almost the full effect..Not condoning what i did... DID JUST STATING FACTS ... If this is a medical situation you wouldn't be here online asking... you'd get the answer from your Dr. so I can only assume everyone posting this is here on the sly...

Hi I am new to here, but I have taken a sub at 10am and have oxy and was wondering how long until the oxy wont be a waste so if anyone knows, I heard 48 hrs in this forum but 12 from a friend so I was wondering I anyone knew the half life for sure. Thanks

hi i took suboxone for about 3 years before i went to rehab... but to answer your question you can take an oxy right after you do a suboxone but it will be a waste because the suboxone has an opioid blocker in it so you will not feel it... that goes for any pain killer if you try and take it... but if you wanna feel it you will have to wait about 48 hours... maybe a little longer or a little less but for me it was always about 2 days... k hopefully i answered your question...

Hey girlgone,

You can take the oxy at anytime after the suboxone, it will not make you sick. You get sick when you take Suboxone too soon after oxy, not the other way around. That being said, you won't need the oxy for several days as the Suboxone remains on the receptor sites for 3 to 5 days after the last dose.

Just wanted to mention that you run a big risk going back to the oxy as opposed to just tapering off the Suboxone. Going back to the oxy could lead you down the path of abusing opiates again. Of course the choice is yours, just thought you might want to reconsider.
