My husband RECORDED me on his goofy phone, snoring like a freight train!
I could just die of the embarassment and shame... yet I find this oddly funny as hell!
Ladies and gents, you just KNOW he played that recording for everyone at his office!
Isn't snoring for old fat guys?
Wow, two questions in one day, sorry everyone!

I have never snored on them but I guess if it knocks you out that well anything is possible.
Sweetlemon,
I tried Xanax for my withdrawals from Percocet and my husband said for the first time in my life I snored like a freight train. So, due to my experience, I would say, yes, it can make you snore. ;)
i read somewhere once that children that snore may be a sign of heart problems. idk if that remains to be true in adults. my parents have 2 completely different heart problems and they both snore like hell. im not trying to scare ya love, im just throwing it out there. xoxo
I have been on Xanax for many years now and I also didn't used to snore before this even when I was on Klonopin aka Clonazepam. I don't think I began to snore until a few years on this so I don't know if it is due to the Xanax itself (as all my other medications have stayed the same) or other issues. Unfortunately I have slept alone all these years and only found out when I woke myself up snoring.
I would advise that you speak to your doctor about this and I agree that if your husband would stay awake to make sure you don't stop breathing, that would be a great idea also so you know what to ask the doctor beforehand.
If the breathing strips don't work you may want to also try out the sprays for the back of your throat along with changing the position you usually sleep in.
Best Wishes for a restful night's sleep,

Thanks Rhonda,
I don't have apnea, but thank you for that suggestion. I think 'tis sinus related. Perhaps allergies?
Have a great day,

You nut. It can sure knock you out! But do me a favor..just to be on the safe side. Have your hunny stay up for a while to listen to you. If there's any change in the rythm of you breathing (like stop breathing for a few seconds) it could indicate sleep apnea. That is nothing to mess around with. If it's just a steady snore, try some nasal strips to help keep your passages clear.also try sleeping on your side. If it's really bothersome you may have issues with your tonsils or adnoids. Then consult with an ENT. Just don't let him do the old pillow over the face thing!
Chris, If I don't post tomorrow, you'll KNOW the man smothered me!
Don't ya just hate it when they record ya doing something embarassing?
Yes' it does embarass him sometimes! He takes it pretty well... has a great sense of humor. as do I !!
