I been on Ozempic for about 5 months, I take 2.5mg, now having stomach pains, bad nausea, belching, bad fatigue, weakness. I'm thinking of going down a dose but don't know it will continue to be effective. One of my doctors prescribed Pepcid, I have to see if that helps, I have type 2 diabetes, it helps with my sugar levels, haven't lost much weight but don't have an appetite, oh and I have an ascites

If your body is not getting used to 2.5mg then yes it would be a good idea to try going down a dose. If you haven’t lost weight in 5 months you really need to look at your diet - Ozempic isn’t a magic bullet, you still need to control your calories and increase your activity. Track everything you eat in a calorie tracker. Or if you’re certain that you’re only eating 1200 calories a day and you’re not losing, you could be a non-responder. Around 11% of people don’t lose weight on Ozempic. But try tracking your calories first.
I have heartburn on the medication so I take Pantoprazole. For the nausea I take some Zofran. For stomach pain you need to make sure you’re not constipated, Mag07 is great for getting things moving.
