Will drinking alcohol be harmful on this low dose? Not daily of course, but maybe once or twice a week? Also, antibiotic resistance with this low of a dose would not be a concern, correct?

Answers
Hi, Renee!
An occasional drink or two won't affect the efficacy of the doxycycline but some studies have determined that antibiotic resistance isn't dose dependent. It can occur even with very low doses.
