I am about to give up on this Zoloft thing.
I was on 25 mg for 3 weeks and 50 mg a week tomorrow. I get almost daily headaches. It has to be the medicine. I’ve never had headaches like this before. Wondering if I should just give up on Zoloft. It’s been 4 weeks and I can’t deal with these headaches. If it’s a side effect shouldn’t it have gone away by now?

You also have to keep in mind that you have not been on your current dose for 4 weeks. Give it the weekend, and if it continues, call your doc and explain the side effect. Don’t just quit over something that should go away
Hi, Brykat! Yes, side effects generally resolve over a period of days to several weeks. Have you notified your doctor about these headaches? If not, do so and get some professional advice.
Best regards and good luck.
Well I just went up from 25 mg to 50 6 days ago so maybe it’s a side effect from going up?
Hi. I am having maybe the same problem only I was on 50 mg and just increased to 100 mg last week. I have had headaches a couple of these days since and I am not one to ever have a headache. I was thinking same thing about the Zoloft. I'll give it another week and hope they go away. I can't really tell if the increase is doing anything to help. Just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one. Good luck.
