I was prescribed buspirone 7.5mg and tried a couple times and won't y again! Made me feel worse! I have anxiety from worrying about taking the meds cause of side effects. I finally decided to try the clonazepam by taking half of a .5mg , I really don't feel much of a change after an hour so is it safe to take the other half?
Thanks in advance :)
I took half of a .5 clonazepam, If I don't feel a difference can I take the other half?

"Take a deep breath. The first thing to do when you get anxious is to breathe. Deep breathing is a powerful anxiety reducing technique because it activates the body’s relaxation response. It helps the body go from the fight or flight response of the sympathetic nervous system to the relaxed response of the parasympathetic nervous system. Try slowly inhaling to a count of 4, filling your belly first and then your chest, gently holding your breath to a count of 4, and slowly exhaling to a count of 4 and repeat several times” I do take Clonazepam myself (2mg) a day, but sometimes when I feel anxious after taking my daily dosage, I practice it.
Thank you Defnee :) I have tried the breathing techniques and they do work when my anxiety isn't to extreme. Today though it was rough, every slight pain or feeling triggered anxiety to where I couldn't concentrate on breathing. I finally got the courage to take half of a .5mg clonazepam and felt great the rest of day. I really just don't want to become dependent on any pill at all. Thank you very much for your response, others input really does help :)
Barbara; If the doctor said to take 1 clozapine and you only took 1/2 then it would be fine to take the other half But never take more than what it says on the label. Also on the Buspar for some reason I have seen here that many people don't get as much relief from take the higher doses and you might give just 5 mg at a time. But don't use both of these at the same time. hope that we'll help you.
Thank You Chuck.. I'm supposed to take 2 .5 clonazepam a day but I won't. I got no sleep at all last night and my day is worse! My head feels heavy and my legs are weak. I just feel so drained from all the worry racing through my mind and not sure if I should take another dose of clonazepam or not. I'm just praying through it :)
