I have a script from 1 year ago from the Vet. It says to give her 1/2 promethazine pill every 24 hours. Is it safe?
Can I give my dog promethazine for her allergies?

If the pups weight hasn't changed significantly you can use the same dosage. Depending on how the medication was stored it might have lost some effectiveness but the drug is safe... it doesn't go "bad".
