I have cold and very serious cough at night and it's making me miserable
I live in Georgia and a prescription is required for Promethazine. It is used mainly for nausea and vomiting. I take 4 per day due to my symptoms of Crohns disease. I doubt it will help with sneezing and other cold like symptoms.
Yes I must have a prescription for Promethazine and codeine. I been throwing up AND sneezing everywhere. I got real bad fever that says 209 degrees.
I live in U.K.
Here we can buy 8mg/500mg
not neccesary you dont have to have a prescription there is certain site online you can buy it without prescription just search on google how to or go to dockteronline.com

I Been Having a really bad cold for a week going on to I bought the cough medicine at the dollar general Store but it not working at all
Yes and no. The promethazine is perscription only but you can get codine syrup OTC. At least in most states. I just called in an order for some. Arrives at my pharmacy tomorrow. All they need is an ID.
As far as I am aware you do need a prescription to buy promethazine.
yes you do need a prescription for promethazine w/codeine . as far as the narcotic mention, yes this is a schedule V drug (because of the codeine). schedule V being the most likely to be misused or habit forming but there is some dependance potential. you need a prescription for promethazine ALONE... However that in itself is not a narcotic.
Re: the comment about promethazine/codeine being legal.
Codeine/APAP is legal w/o a prescription in Canada but not the US
promethazine/codeine and benzonatate 200mg taken together is not advisable?
