Thank you, to those who have shared experiences of tolerability to repatha. I am from the pharma industry and as informed I was on statins, I started getting intense pain in my midline dorsal area ( top of ankle) and was taken off statins. My Cardiologist wants me on Repatha and I am very skeptical. I read all the abstracts and studies and the sides effects seem to me worse than a stroke or heart attack. I have F.H. and my cholesterol is at 3.5, still high for someone with my condition and pravastatin which is what I was on at 40 mg was not well tolerated. I may go to crestor, instead of Repatha based on what you all shared. Grateful for this platform.

I have FH and Repatha is the only drug that has helped lower my cholesterol. Statins never worked and caused side effects. I was on Praluent for a couple of years and it did nothing. For me, Repatha is the key drug. Wishing you good health.
