I've been in pain over 40 years. Now I can't find a effective generic Percocet 10/325. I live at a pain level 3 and have not had a day without pain in over 40 years. I recently learned the FDA allows the pharmaceuticals to have up to a 30% error when producing these medications. I'm looking for a pharmaceutical manufacturer that produces an effective generic Percocet 10/325. I know I'm not alone there are many chronic pain patients and short term pain patients with this problem. I've tried a different brands no help yet. At age 75 I need a medication that keeps my pain level no higher that a 3 it is now a 5 to 6 or higher. I can't use any anti inflammatory medication, I've had 3 ulcers and auditory problems. My doctor would order brand name, insurance won't cover or only at 50% or less. $3000.00 to $4500.00 even at 50% off of those numbers are higher than my monthly income.
Effective generic Percocet 10/325?

Hello.
What brand (generic) were you on and now you can't find?
If you can't find them check the smaller (non chain) small mom & pop pharmacy they might be able to order them for you or even have them in-stock.
The big chain pharmacies buy from a distributor at massive quantities for ALL of their locations at special, large orders. The non chain pharmacies don't do that because of the lack of a sizeable order.
Im not too sure about the 30% error rate being true. What IS different between manufacturing is the fillers that are used and that "filler(s) make each generic work slightly different at times.
I hope this helps.

Thank you for your answer. The 30% error rate was told to me by my doctor he said FDA approved that. I did switch to a small mom & pop pharmacy. The pharmacy has tried 3 companies so far none have helped yet. Yes fillers are part of the problem. I looking for a lab to test the pills I want to know what's in them. I am really upset at being judged as a drug seeker at 75 years old with medical records of over 40 years of pain. Thanks again but there was nothing I haven't already tried or any new info. I don't usually Google things but did this time. I did learn there are many many others with the same problem unfortunately. Misery does Not love company.
