Been trying to drop from 100mg to 50mg over the last couple weeks. Have noticed the other night hearing things such as the door being unlocked, someone talking in the hallways among some other noises that weren’t actually happening. Is this normal for withdrawing from the dosages or is it something o should get checked?
Does dropping from 100mg Pristiq to 50mg cause auditory hallucinations?

Answers
Hi, Jaxon!
You should probably let your doctor know what's going on. In rare circumstances hallucinations have been reported as a side effect of Pristiq but not as a symptom of withdrawal.
So, no, I don't think it's normal and you should get professional advice.
Best regards and I hope you feel better soon.
