Can I drink alcohol while I am taking Durlaza?
Medically reviewed by Drugs.com. Last updated on April 5, 2024.
You can drink alcohol occasionally in small amounts while you are taking Durlaza, but you need to be very careful of the timing of the dose relative to the time of the alcoholic drink. Alcohol can interfere with the controlled release properties of Durlaza, so it is very important that you do not take the dose two hours before or one hour after consuming alcohol.
Patients who drink three or more alcoholic drinks each day increase their risk of bleeding while taking aspirin.
