Hello ronda1975. It might very well test positive. Other drugs, such as from the SSRI family, (Prozac-Zoloft) have tested positive (in this case to amphetamine) Regards pledge.

Yes. It will show up as a benzo in a UA. I have tested it over and over again at the drug and alcohol recovery program I work at. If the UA tests for Benzos, trazodone will show as a positive.

Ronda1975, Yes, it is possible to be screened for this drug, but highly unlikely because most drug test are looking for opiates not this. What I'm saying is that if they do a blood draw specifically for this drug they will find it up to 30 days after last dose, however, I've never know of anybody testing for it unless you specifically asked your doctor to on a lab test for a trazodone level, which means they are looking to see if you are taking it as prescribed and not more than prescribed. It's a good drug and fairly safe as drugs go. It can be used for many different reasons like for sleep, nervous conditions, migraine pain etc... hope that helps you. NIK

not true... on the 30 days in system..only stays in the system 3 to 5 days.
