Yes. Side effects listed are numerous and include hair loss. Also there are thousands of law suits for kidney failure. I've been on 40 mg nexium for 7 + years and have had extremely tender breasts, hair loss, C Diff and bone loss. Read the research. I stopped taking it 2 days ago and NO tender breaststroke for first time in almost 8 years!! Hoping my hair comes back

Common side effects include headache, diarrhea, nausea, gas, decreased appetite, constipation, dry mouth, and abdominal pain. More severe side effectswhcih must be reported to your Doctor: are severe allergic reactions, chest pain, dark urine, fast heartbeat, fever, persistent sore throat, severe stomach pain, unusual bruising or bleeding, unusual tiredness, and yellowing of the eyes or skin.
