I have never used either before and I'm somewhat nervous. I have a stressful job that requires extensive travel and client interaction. I am also prescribed to adderall 30mg a day. Does anyone have experience with any of these? Would Temazepam and Gabapentin help with anxiety brought on by stressful situations or workload? any advice would be most appreciated.
My doctor prescribed Gabapentin 300mg and Temazepam 30mg for anxiety, has anyone used these?

Yep. It's a lot. I take the exact concoction for the same reasons. Makes me dizzy. But I'm working through it. I sleep much, much better. Maybe it's a coma, but it feels nice in the am.
Don't take Temazepam for more than 10-14 days in a row or you will be addicted to it. I didn't know that when I started taking it for insomnia and my doctor's directions were to take it every night before bed. Well day 40 on it or so when it wasn't working that well anymore, I discovered that I shouldn't have taken it so long and had to taper off slowly. Even with tapering you get withdraws and one of those is excessive sweating for 3 months. Just great with it being summer.
Gabapentin may help you feel better but as Dzoobaby said it can make you forgetful.
I take L-theanine which is a natural amino acid and it works great. Helps with the stress and anxiety as it relaxes you. Added benefit is that it helps keep my mind sharp and alert. I got it at a reputable health supplement store.
Just had to warn you about the Temazepam.
Take care
Temazepam is for sleep, not anxiety. You wont want to take it during the day when you need to be alert. Gabapentin may help but be aware that it can cause memory problems and problems with recall, drowsiness and dizziness so you may want to see how you react sometime, like on a weekend, when you dont have to be your alert/sharpest to see how it affects you. Have you ever tried BuSpar? I almost wonder if it wouldnt be better for you, You could still use the Temazepam to help you sleep.
