Hey everyone. My doctor drug tested me and I am prescribed temazepam for insomnia. I viewed my results and I was positive for oxazepam and temazepam. I have never heard of oxazepam and never taken it or anything else I am not prescribed. I have read on many medical and labritory websites where oxazepam is a metabolite of a wide range of benzodiazepines. I just don't want my doctor to think I took oxazepam. Does anyone have any knowledge about this? Thanks
Tested positive on a drug test for oxazepam and temazepam. Is oxazepam a metabolite of temazepam?

"Oxazepam is a short-acting benzodiazepine and one of the most frequently prescribed anxiolytic drugs. It is also the active metabolite of a wide range of other benzodiazepines, such as diazepam, ketazolam, temazepam, chlordiazepoxide, demoxazepam, halazepam, medazepam, prazepam, pinazepam, and clorazepate."
