One would be Estradiol this one is not from horses. Also the natural way that works pretty good for me is Nature's Way DIM-Plus estrogen metabolism Supplement. Hope this helps you.

I'm not responding well to estradiol. I think my body is use to the estropipate. What can I take for estropipate?

My Dr. Suggested Premarin. I refuse to go on that. 90 days/$508! Vs. 90 days/$43 for estrogen.

It's ridiculous that there isn't a decent replacement. I'm horribly allergic to horses, and 99% of the HRT meds are horse-based. Ogen (or estropipate) was my BEST medication for HRT - and now they are discontinuing it??? Horrible!!!

I am being forced off of HRT since they cancelled estropipate. I have taken this for 23 years and now I can’t get it? I have Horrible side effects with every other available HRT. This is proof that the pharmaceutical companies DO NOT CARE about people. It’s all about making money to them and they could care less how this affects our quality of life. I’m so angry. I’ve tried several other HRTs and have ended up in the ER twice in one week. Nothing is on the market that even comes close to estropipate. So my doctor has decided it will be best for me to stop HRT all together.

There is no replacement that doesn’t have terrible side effects. At least not for me. Nothing is chemically similar.

After being off of this for a month, I’m now suffering from joint and bone pain. Since I’m not able to take any other HRT, I have nothing to help me. This med was all I had that helped, but now thanks to Teva cancelling it, I’m left to suffer with this constant pain. It’s unconscionable of them to have done this to so many people.

I have 5 pills left and it took 2 years to find this med and been on for 25 years... scared. Tried them all. Let me know if some
finds an equivalent.
