Had great results with this OTC medication. Concerned now as to WHY it is being removed.
Why has Oxytrol been pulled (or discontinued) from all of my local retailers?

I could not find any info on why this is not available, could be a local issue in your area.
Maybe this will help: http://www.oxytrolforwomen.com/where-buy.html
Not just an issue in my area. WISH it were, I would drive to another area to get it. :) After more research going through Merck and Bayer Drug Companies, I was advised by the Bayer company that since they took over Merck (or merged with them??) "their management decided to discontinue the product." I was advised. that it was just a management decision and that it had nothing to do with problems with the product, or any type of health concerns or legal issues.
P.S. to previous reply: I had already researched the link you provided Aquanaut, and while it shows several retailers, if you go to those retailers you will find they no longer carry the product. Most of the retailers could not tell my why when I contacted my local ones, just that they "no longer carried it"; "no longer could find it on their shelves"; "it had been discontinued." HOWEVER, if any one does happen to find a pack (8 count or 42, I think the next size is), PLEZ let me know! Thanks! The Bayer person I talked with did say there was a "small possibility" there could still be a few packages still out on the shelves somewhere.
Today I purchased the transdermal patch, a box of 4, at a Walmart.
This medication is available in Australia but under a different company. Actavis is the company now. There is a worldwide division as well as Australian division. BUT not available in Australia as an over the counter medication
