What is the difference between pantoprazole sod 40mg tab leg and pantoprazole sod 40mg tab dr?
There is a difference between the two. DR means Delayed Release, which is designed to be broken down in the intestine rather than the stomach. Before accepting one over the other, check with your healthcare provider to be sure which one is right for you.
Nothing. Sod stands for sodium and is the salt form of Pantoprazole. They contain exactly the same active drug and the same amount. The names can be interchanged in this case.
thank you!!
