I've been on depo-provera for almost a year now. I've recently been sleeping with someone & he came inside of me these past 3 days, 3 times total. Would it be unnecessary to get Plan B because I'm on the shot? I'm worried I may get pregnant.
On depo-provera, had someone cum inside me, should I get Plan B?

How long have you been on Depo? Have you just had your first shot within the last week or two?
Ignore me, I mis-read your first comment! You'll be covered for pregnancy, but not sexually transmitter diseases.
Okay thank you! But I'm also bleeding now too and I haven't bled or had my period in awhile so, is it strange/bad that I'm bleeding?
It could just be due to the Depo, & you may want to ask your Doctor to bring your next couple of shots forward to 9-10 weeks, & that often settles down any bleeding from Depo when you've been on it a while with no bleeding.
However, I would also want to get checked out for other possible causes, before assuming it's the Depo. Are you up to date with your cervical smears? Is it possible you could have contracted an STD?
Hope it settles down for you soon.
With the shot you dont ovulate, you aren't going to get pregnant. What would be the purpose of plan B, all it does is delay ovulation , which you don't do.
You're protected, you don't need.
Alright thank you so much!!
