Think its safe to say no as i had one done last month and surley if Gabapentin made a difference they would then tell you to stop taking it prior to the test, my thoughts anyway and ps my results were negitive, but maybe its best to give them a ring and ask for defo.
Well, emg measures the electrical impulses of muscles. Gabapentin actually work on nerves, not really muscles directly.
However, indirectly it might make some small difference in whether your muscles respond to pain transmissions.
Have you asked the laboratory where you had this testing done? I am sure they could give you an answer. Hoping you find out!! Blessings :)
