I've been taking it for about 2 to 3 months now. I take 600mg three times a day and my period is now a week late.
Can gabapentin affect your period (menstrual cycle)?

As an added note, pregnancy tests are negative.
Added 4 Dec 2018:Another note: I'm only taking 600mg Gabapentin and 800mg ibuprofen three times a day, along with the occasional muscle relaxer.

I have taken this gabapentin and ibuprofen for 5 days. My periods have been delayed for almost a week now.
Can this be due to the medication ?
Also did you get for periods OP. If yes, then how long did it take?
So glad I stumbled upon this. After having epilepsy surgery, I was prescribed gabapentin to take care of tinnitus as nerves in my head grow back. Since taking 400mg a day, my period stopped altogether, despite having cramps from time to time. I have an IUD, so I was reasonably sure I was not pregnant but was so unnerved, I took a test anyway. I never thought there could be a correlation until I ran out of capsules for a few days and started my period. I'm not sure I'll be taking this medication anymore, as I find Lipo-Flavonoid works just as well.
Hi, good question. When I got to 300 mgs my period stopped. It could be in combination with my other meds however. Let's see what others have to say.
