I think you need to re-check your figures. The standard adult dose of Clonazepam is 0.50 mg. If you took 500 mg, you took 1000 times the recommended dosage which is life-threatening.
What do you mean when you say "I have taken 10 today"? Is that 10 pills or 10 mg? Either way, it is extremely dangerous.
No, it's not okay at all; you may need something but clonazepam does not seem to be it; an antidepressant seems more suitable. See your doctor (he/she is unlikely to give you a new script every week anyway so that should be soon).
I should have said an SSRI such as Effexor or Zoloft would probably more appropriate.
Many people (approx 30%) cannot take SRIs, SSRIs and tricyclic antidepressants. This class has a stronger BLACK BOX warning than my opioid and the class is responsible for more than half of suicides. I take up to three (3) 1 mg clonazepam per day with my opioid treatment. It is allowed by the FDA according to the Opioid insert when other methods prove ineffective.
First you didn't take 500 mg. Clonazepam is 0.5 mg, so 10 times that is 5 mg. However its still too much. You need to see a dr if you are trying to shut off feelings. Before you shut them off for good.
Get some help, this is not the way to shut things off, unless you want them to stay off.
