If you take an EMIT drug test, the false positives for meth are around 30%. It is the most common form of drug testing for employees. If there is a false positive they will perform another more sensitive test. One's best bet is to just disclose that one had taken a cold tablet with pseudoephedrine. Also, blood tests usually do not result in a false positive, whereas a urinalysis is higher for false positives.
Claritin D contains pseudoephedrine which can cause false positive for amphetamines (speed).
Take care.
