Doctor says low dosage cialis is OK for otherwise healthy 80 yr old with mild A-Fib and a pacemaker, but I wonder if others in similar circumstances have had positive results with the drug for BPH as well as ED. Someone here mentioned irregular heartbeats after starting this medication.
Cialis - What about side effects for a man with a pacemaker & A-Fib?

I have had an ICD implant for almost 10 years (July, 2005) and have been taking Cialis 5mg daily for two years (Dec. 2012). There have been no cardiac events other than one incident of AF, almost 3 months ago, which my ICD immediately corrected.
My cardiac condition is considered "serious." However, at almost 90 years of age, "so far, so good."
As usual, YMMV.
if you have a heart problem better i suggest you not to use it because this pills increase your blood flow & your heartbeats gets more faster
In this particular I would advise to always verify a Dr's orders/instructions with that Dr directly, no one else has the knowledge of your unique situation, often times we hear of the experiences of others not realizing that may just be their experience based on factors we can't possible know. If there's doubt, a 2nd opinion from another Dr (in person) is in order to ensure you are getting the best answer for you.
Cialis was first a bp medication. If your dr says its ok, unless you're on nitrates for angina. you should be ok. It can cause ventricular irregular heartbeats not atrial.
Ventricular info is a big help. Thanks.
