Need professional opinion about the risks involved in taking these two drugs (Cialis 5mg & Viagra 25mg) together. I am taking Cialis 5mg daily for BPH treatment. However, its not enough to have sex ( I have ED). So, can I supplement it with Viagra 25mg only when needed for sex?
Can I combine Cialis 5mg daily for BPH, and Viagra 25mg for ED?

Same issue for me. Cialis is a good BPH therapy but in my case not so much for ED. I take the prescribed 5mg of Cialis in the morning, then 80mg of sildenafil when its time for sex. No side effects whatsoever. However, I recommend postponing blood pressure medication for a few hours after sex so you don't get dizzy.
My urologist reported that using the meds within the same day most likely wouldn't present a problem. My reading of the online PDR showed minimal risk for side effects when combined. So I take Cialis every evening for BPH and sometimes double up the Cialis (x2 5mg tabs) for sex. Or I take the Viagra (50mg) in the a.m. if that's when I'm having sex. If I plan to have sex in the afternoon or evening I skip that evening's dose of Cialis and use just the Viagra. I've had no problems using the meds this way.
Same issue here... 5mg won't do the ED job so I take both... on those days I need both. However. Cigna insurance suddenly stopped paying for one or the other... claim they are both for ED... so either I pee or have sex... or go broke... Dr. has spoken to them repeatedly but Cigna has a great deal lacking in customer service... go by the book and your health be damned. All for $483/ month premium plus what my beloved company kicks in. You work out, diet, keep BP good and they cut you off.
You should not mix these drugs unless your dr has ordered them that way.
That is my professional opinion.
