I contracted herpes zoster some weeks ago, took a regimen of antibiotics (orally) and am following up with bacitracin. Is mupirocin an alternative topical curative?
Can I use mupirocin on "shingles"? Am now trying bacitracin. Which is more effective?

Neither mupirocin nor bacitracin will have any effect on the shingles. They are antibacterial, and shingles is a viral infection. Please see your doctor for an antiviral medication.
