I will be seeing my doctor In March and want to see if I can get better results on a different dose and schedule for my Buspar. I take 25 mg 8am and 10 mg 8 pm ( with food) been afraid to adjust dosage due to last time was pretty bad waiting for it to level out . I know everyone is different. I’m wanting to see what is working for other people so I have a place to start. I am one of the small percentage of people that has the Buspar side effect of insomnia. Are there other of you out there like me that Buspar is the only drug you can take because all the other ones had worse side effects than insomnia. And if you are still on it . How are you doing?
What Buspar mg and time frame works best for you?

Answers
Hi, welcomeme!
This probably won't be too helpful as I rarely have side effects from any medications and I'm highly resistant to them. I've taken 30mg twice daily for many years and it's been very effective.
