It’s fine . I’ve done this all the way through as I’m such a tiny frame and a full one as making me sick ( which , they are supposed to at the beginning to put u right off cigs but ye . 0.5 will be fine then up to 1 after 3 days .
They are time release do not Crush or split tablets says it right in the instructions
I would not break them in half. I did that once and got very severe rashes
HI deenieweenie I actually have to take 1/2 pill 3 times a day, to avoid the worst side effects. 2 whole pills makes gives me too much anxiety and stomach pain.
dear dennie = pill splitters are available at all pharmacy's, and some grocery stores. Couple of bucks at the most. I now realize you are past needing one now, but, never hurts to have one on hand. They are quite helpful, certainly more consistent than doing by hand. Good luck on quitting smoking, it is a battle I have been fighting for a long time. Non smokers don't get it. Would like to heat how you are doing now that some time has passed. Has the Chantix helped at all?? Willpower is just not enough for a lot of people. Wishing you good luck...
Yes you can break the 1mg chantix in half & only take half for the 1st 3 days. However plz make sure to break it as even & exactly half as possible or else you will regret it. You start @ the lower dose so you can avoid as much of the side effect -extreme nausea-as possible. The more you ingest @ 1st the more nausea & possibly vomiting you'll experience. Good Luck!! Where there's a will there's a way.
