Blood pressure medication?

There are many blood pressure medications, and your doctors should chose one that does not have adverse effects with other medications you take. I had a hypertensive crisis due to lack of interaction checking. I hope that pharmaceutical companies can help doctors by supplying technical assistance.

Your doctor knows you and your medical history so if she/he prescribed this medication you can rather assume it's safe for you to take it... it's even prescribed for children. There is a risk -vs- benefit question with any medication and generally the benefits far outweigh any potential risk.
I take a different hypertension/anxiety medication, which is also an ACE inhibitor, but my husband has been taking lisinopril for years with no problems.

The BEST BP med for anxiety is Corgard. I have been taking both LISINOPRIL and Corgard for 20 years. The only issue you may possibly run into with Lisinopril is that it effects your potassium level, so DO NOT take any supplements that have Potassium in it, other than that it is what was added to my list of meds after a major attack in 2013
