I took my birth control yesterday and put it under my tongue while I was getting water, by the time I got the water it was basically dissolved with only a small amount of powder left which I then swallowed, did I get the full dosage in this case? Am I still protected?
My birth control dissolved under my tongue. Will it still be effective?

Hi Wooohooo,
So...
I'd consider it a “missed” pill even though it probably was mostly absorbed.
In that event, take the missed pill now even if you already took one today. The idea is to keep your levels up.
If you missed more than 48 or more...
You would take one of the missed pills as soon as you realize it. However, extra protection should be used.
If anyone has more info please add.
Be well
:-)
