I used one a day oxybutynin and the dry mouth (and throat) was difficult to live with. I need the medicine and want to fight the dry mouth best way possible. Also... Will using non-slow-release be better? I don't mind taking more than one a day.
What is best way to overcome dry mouth effect from Oxybutynin?

Hi, I have real bad dry mouth due to taking phentermine, as it's a common side effect of the medication, and I was recommended a drink mix called phen drink. It has ingredients in it which boost saliva so it works better than water alone. I mixed the drink a little too strong and my mouth was practically watering, so it really does work!
Thank you for the tip. However, my urologist switched me over to Myrbetriq, which has no dry mouth side effect. Unfortunately, just FYI, there really does not seem to be much that one can hope for in terms of improving OAB following prostate surgery for BPH. The best I've seen is a reduction of micturations per day by 2, as in two. That ain't much.
You can try biotin products. Many of us have to deal with it from various meds. I am constantly attached to a water bottle, lol The immediate release is probably worse.
