What is the most effective generic Klonopin out there? I’ve been on brand name. I take 2 mgs. Daily. Brand name is on backorder. I had to start taking brand name when Teva sold out. The generics I took didn’t seem to help me. I take it for anxiety disorder.

Teva and cannot get it now.
All generic drugs have to meet the same quality of standards as brand names. It maybe your anxiety thinking it’s not working as well. How long have you been taking it? Did it help right away or did it take some time to compensate the feeling of overwhelming anxiety?
I took the Teva brand generic for 10 years, .5 2x per day. It was wonderful, I had no problems. Then I started noticing that it wasn't working as well and I was having more anxiety. I investigated it and found out that others had been having problems with it too, and that Teva had sold out to another company. Since then, I've been taking the name brand with no problems. I hope you're right but there have been so many other people on here who have had the same problem I had, with the Teva brand selling out. In total I've taken it about 14 years.
I’m new at this so I didn’t see that I could reply. Some generics are a bit better with the type of medication it is. I take Synthroid instead of the generic Levothyroxine. It does work better to control my thyroid levels but by very little. May I ask if you could answer the question I posted just a few minutes ago? It’s about how long does it take before Klonopin breaks the cycle of anxiety? I have been on my new dose since late Friday. Thank you.
I believe it works within an hour. I also take synthroid instead of levothyroxine because I can tell a difference. I believe it’s the different fillers used in the generics.
It does work in an hour or so but I was told that you have to give it time to break the cycle of anxiety and have your body get used to it. Is there any truth to this? Klonopin has helped a lot with my panic attacks but not fully on the anxiety yet. Is there hope that I will just need to be on for a bit longer before it takes the full effect?
