I've been prescribed Percocet 10/325 for chronic pain. My question is I have to decide between Watson or Endo. Has anyone ever been given either of these two brands. Which works better? Thanks. I welcome all comments.

I have tried just about every brand of percocet and have found Endocet to be the most effective.
Actavis sold out to Camber. Their percs are not near as strong as Actavis was. I wonder if they will use the old formula (Actavis) in the future?! Or drop that line and stay with theirs?
Everyone's different, but Endo is the worst pain reliever made. For my system anyways. Watson was sold
To answer your question, and speaking from my point of view.. I must say everyone's system is different, what might work for you or jane might not work for me and vise versa.. But i thought for a moment that i was loosing my marbles because my new pharmacy i switched to about 8 months ago gives me the yellow oxycodone/acetaminophen 10-325 by Alvogen.. But it does not work on my pain ..so i thought that either my injuries had gotten worse or my body had become used to it so i could no longer feel it work for my pain.. But then
I ended up in the e.r. from allergy to another medication i had been given to replace my percocet until i could see my doctor for my normal refill, at that point it was 3 am and the hospital had given me a script for 10 percocet to last until my appointment with the doctor so i took it to Walgreens because it was the only one open close by due to my pharmacy being closed.. They filled it and i took 1 it was by a different manufacturer and low and behold it actually worked for my pain.. So i told my pharmacist and asked if he could change it to that one and he said he would try and that it was weird that the ones he gives me do not work.. Well i said look up how many complaints from patients about that same manufacturer and percocet made by them.. I have no idea why but all i know is 1 works and the other does not.. So i must say that i agree with people on this due to my experience with the matter.. I believe that they differ very much from one another and i do not know why but i know it does definitely make a difference.. I think it just has to do with a person's body chemistry and also the binders they use..
Endo E712 10/325 are by far the best and more superior quality than any other... don't get the A333 they're nothing but garbage, is like taking Tylenol...
I used to use the 512. I wanna know which one is the best!
Watson is better (i.e., the best) by far, but where I live (Northern VA), Watson hasn’t been sold for at least 5 years.
I live in Gloucester Virginia and I am trying to find a Pharmacy that carries Endo or mallinckrodt please I'd you ever hear of one please let me know thank you
RiteAid
RP brand, Rhode Island Pharm is the worst. Makes me extremely tired and all I want to do is sleep. I miss the Watson and the endo my insurance wont cover all and they want a lot of money for them. Amneal is the manu now that I am getting, ok is all I can say.
Watson is now owned by Actavis but the formula's seem to be the same !! Both of these are good as I have been on both !! Everyone is different so you may have to try one for a month and if you feel like you want to try the other would be the best way to see what works with your system !! I wish you luck as I have been on Oxcycodone for over 20 years as a Chronis pain patient even during my 29 year career !! Now I have to also use the Actavis ( old Watson ) Fentanyl patches also !! I will say a prayer for you !! God bless !!
I have been taking Percocet 10-325 mfr Aurobindo pha, but yesterday CVS filled my prescription with a new mfr & the pharmacist assistant asked me did I mind the mfr being different? I asked her should I mind? The new mfr is Amneal Pharma and I'm almost convinced the new ones are not helping my pain like the 1st mfr. In a case like this am I just stuck with these pills until next time?
Now that I know Watson might be a choice I will ask for Watson over any mfr. Watson has always been a favorite for me!
Indos are
I would also like to add that here in South Texas we have a generic of narcotic manufacturer called Qualitest to me it seems to be the fastest working longest lasting generic brand and very affordable
Are the qualtest still available there in Texas?
I was only able to find qualitest norco at a small compounding pharmacy. Every other pharmacy, even one that specializes in pain meds, carry the now white Watson's. Bought by activis, that are no longer yellow, and did not work for me. I just took endocet generic for percocet. Much better than whatever generic I took last time... They were circular and white. These are yellow and look identical to the brand name.
I'm not alone when I say that 10 mg Qualitest percocet is the absolute worst generic brand and I've taken every brand on the market since about 2006. Qualitest has practically no effect on my pain and I will adamantly refuse them when that is the only brand the pharmacy carries. Most people will also agree that Watson is the best brand, but that has not been available (in th DC area) for at least about 8 years.
I have taken both brands endocet is definitely there closest c thing to the actual name brand.
I contacted the distributer of Endo in the St. Louis area and although very pleasant to deal with, would not give me the names of any pharmacies that sell Endo brand. Said it was because of legal issues. If anyone can help it would be great. Since I think Endo 10/325 Oxies are the best maybe this forum can become a place where we can share what pharmacies in which stat carries certain brands to help each other out.
I know this is an old post but in case anyone reads it, they can get them-- if the pharmacy buyer will allow it. It's up to the buyer, so ask your pharmacist buyer if they can special order for you. If not, ask if they can get special order brand name. Your insurance may not cover, and if they do, expect the highest copay.
I think Endo is the best but they are hard to find. Anyone in St. Louis, MO know of any pharmacy that carries them. Greatly appreciated.
Walgreen's in Kirkwood do
