Moderate
atorvastatin clopidogrel
Applies to: atorvastatin, clopidogrel
Talk to your doctor before using atorvastatin and clopidogrel. This combination may reduce the effects of clopidogrel. Call your doctor promptly if you have any signs of blood clots such as chest pain, shortness of breath, sudden loss of vision, or pain, redness or swelling in an extremity. You may need a dose adjustment or special test if you take both medications. It is important that you tell your health care provider about all other medications that you are using including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using your medications without first talking to your doctor.

Both medications are prescription only, this means that your Dr. prescribed both medications most likely is aware of the potential interaction and has outweighed that the benefits of taking them together is greater than the risk and would not put you in harms way.
If they were prescribed by 2 different Drs. and they are not informed that you are taking one med or the other without their knowledge as I mentioned, contact them and inform them.
If you still feel uneasy if it was only 1 Dr. who prescribed both meds do contact him/her and further discuss this potential interaction.
