Atenolol and spironolactone cause gain weight?

I actually, lost weight on it. It is a blood pressure medicine with A diuretic. Just make sure that your doctor checks you potassium levels if, you don’t suffer from edema or after, it dissipates. My primary at the time didn’t listen to this and I ended up in the hospital for low potassium and sodium had to go to a specialist for my kidneys. That’s the only problem I had with it.
