I've had a sore and dry throat a couple of weeks after taking Lexapro. It has me worried it's something else. Which is setting off my anxiety. Just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.
Has anyone got a sore and dry throat from taking Lexapro?

Answers
Hi, Irivera! This is a common side effect (1-10% of users) which generally resolves within a few weeks.
You could try a product like Biotene which you can buy OTC to soothe and moisten your mouth and throat.
If it persists longer than 2-3 weeks just let your doctor know.
Thank you so much!
