I’ve been a small but effective amount of this medication for the better part of my adult life and I’ve moved to a different state and cannot get anyone to order me the brand Klonopin. Not the big chain stores or the mom and pop stores. The generics just don’t help me. I’m getting very nervous I don’t know what to do. Which generic is closest to the brand? Thanks
Is anyone else having a huge problem getting brand Klonopin?

My doctor refuses to fill my prescription for clonazepam. It has worked for me since 2008. Instead, she has me on 5 other anti-anxiety medications. I wonder what the long-term effects are of those pills. I have been on the starter dosage of clonazepam for 15 years.
Wish I could find a small pharmacy to order it for me. How does one go about finding a pharmacy to order this? I was literally going from one drugstore to the next, but I just can’t physically do that anymore
they are available in Mexico, over the counter. You just have to be careful of the drug cartel wars.
I take brand name. I have a small pharmacy that orders it for me. But, my doctor won’t write brand name only because he doesn’t believe that the generic isn’t the same.
I’ve always done very well on Teva. My pharmacist does his best to keep it ordered in for me. A pharmacist would be able to answer your question the best of what’s closest to brand if they will take the time to do so.
I used to love the old Teva from years ago. Is the new Teva just as good? I heard it wasn't. I tried Accord and another generic and it was awful.
Is your doctor marking the prescription "BRAND NAME ONLY"? That is the only way we get brand name prescriptions in PA and MD. Also, has your insurance changed and they won't allow brand name drugs? If so, your doctor can appeal to your prescription drug insurance company to consider covering this since generic doesn't work for you. Best of luck. I am a long time Klonopin user for 15 years and it has helped enormously with no increase in dosage.
My doctor does write brand-name only. he’s been doing it for years and it’s been fine. It’s only since I moved to Florida that it’s a big issue. I’ve made phone calls to manufacturers, distributors wholesalers. I don’t know what else to do. I’m literally in tears. McKesson is one of the wholesalers that sells to CVS CVS here deals with McKesson. I don’t know why they won’t get my brand klonopin. I’ve been trying for weeks now move down here the beginning of December I still can’t get it. Thank God I have a stash of Klonopin but that’s going to run out eventually. I’m hoping by then I could find a drugstore that will get me the brand. My insurance pays for it, my doctor writes it out. I don’t know what else to do. Thanks
