My partner has been on it for 6 weeks and would expect to have dropped weight without consuming the huge calories he used to drink. He has actually gained a few pounds. What are your experiences.

Actually the opposite. Ive been in Antabuse for almost a year now and from not taking in calories from drinking, being a little more aware of my diet (I just dropped poptarts and excessive sweets and drinks with a bunch of sugar) because of being sober and a little bit more movmeny through the day like taking my
Dog for a walk or just keeping physically busy I went from an obese 220 for my height to 155ish and I feel really healthy! I honestly never thought it possible and I dont know if the Antabuse even played a part but i saw this post and felt the need to share.
A little weight gain is probably nothing to worry about. Some exercise and diet should fix it. Most important thing for an alcoholic is staying off the booze!
Hi, Yes they do list fatigue and lack of motivation, but nothing about weight loss that he may have to do some walking etc to burn some off now that he is not drinking congratulation keep at it.
I haven’t noticed that. I have had days when I feel unmotivated to exercise because of queasiness, and I’m trying to push myself before that becomes an issue. I started about three weeks ago, so that could change!
But no, no direct increase in weight, so far.
