I have never taken antabuse in my life, I rarely drink.
I accidentally took what I now know to be an 250mg out of date antabuse this morning thinking it was a paracetamol (bottom of medicine tin and later found the old packet that matched what I took).
I had them as my ex partner used to take them and never got rid.
Anyway, I'm going out tomorrow afternoon the first tome in months and was going to have a couple glasses of wine or similar with an old friend I've not seen in years, over dinner.
Will I be safe to drink a small amount.
As I said I've never taken one before so I've not built anything up.
I want to know if 250mg one time will be out of my system enough to have one of 2 drinks 30 ish hours later?
Thanks I advance.
I took 250mg Antabuse - help?

Answers
Having taken a single dose of Antabuse, it remains in your body for up to 14 days, so I suggest you do not drink at all.
