I’m of the opinion that this is not a good medication.
Can I stop taking it or will it make me sick if I stop after three nights? I don’t like how tired I am throughout the day.
Anyone advise, please.

Hi. I have been taking 75mg nightly to help reduce the frequency of chronic migraine for a couple of years. It took about 6 weeks before it made a difference. It’s far from perfect but has increased my quality of life a great deal. I find that taking it a couple of hours before bed works best.
The literature on this antidepressant clearly says that it must be stopped gradually, but after only 3 days of using it, I believe you won't have a problem with withdrawal symptoms.
Amitriptyline takes 4-6 weeks to work, it does work very well well for this purpose. I would recommend keep going as it is a good medication which does the job as intended.
